Herend porcelain in the splendour of international ballet – full house press conference accompanying Budapest Ballet Grand Prix 2025

2025. October 21.

Herend Porcelain Manufactory played a major role at the full house press conference held at the National Dance Theatre accompanying the third Budapest Ballet Grand Prix 2025.

“It provides both an overview of the international scene and an opportunity for the most talented to receive scholarships and career opportunities,” said Erika Miklósa, Kossuth Prize-winning opera singer.

At the event, Dr. Attila Simon, CEO of Herend Porcelain Manufactory Ltd., presented the special, handmade Herend prize, which will be awarded to the most outstanding talents of the competition.

The Herend masterpiece is not only a symbol of victory, but also the embodiment of tradition, value and the eternal beauty of Hungarian craftsmanship.

The CEO also introduced the Herend exhibition opened in the foyer of the National Dance Theatre, featuring rarely seen, unique porcelain masterpieces, creating an unparalleled harmony between the elegance of dance art and porcelain art.

More than 140 young dancers from 22 countries have registered for the competition, 80 of whom will have the opportunity to take the stage.

The Budapest Ballet Grand Prix, like Herend porcelain, is a symbol of excellence, dedication and artistic perfection.
